A day dedicated to taste amidst the boundless landscape of Volterra.
At 10.30am a driver will pick you up from the Villa and take you to the Azienda Agricola Lischeto to visit the dairy, discovering the processing of sheep's milk cheeses and entering the vault where the cheeses are kept for maturing. The visit concludes with a light lunch and cheese tasting in the farm's restaurant, overlook- ing the rolling hills of the Val di Cecina and Val d'Era. After a relaxing lunch you will be transferred to the Azienda Agricola Marcampo, situated on the hillside opposite Lischeto, under the backdrop of the Volterra crags. The cellar Manager will accompany you through the rows of vines to understand where the wine that you will taste comes from, after the visit to the cellar, here too you can enjoy the endless landscape and the breeze that always blows on this side of Volterra. Once the tasting is over, you will be ready to return to Velari to watch the colourful sun set.
